From the MOUNTAIN to the SEA. A hiking journey through Penedès.

The plan We’ll go for a hike across " El Foix natural Park", located in the Alt Penedès region in which we’ll be impressed by the variety of landscapes this route has to offer. We’ll start at l’Arboç (where we’ll see a replica of the famous Sevilla’s Giralda), we’ll walk on paths through vineyards, we’ll go along the edge of the Foix beautiful reservoir and we’ll climb the Foix mountains. From there we’ll have amazing panoramic view over Vilanova i la Geltrú and its beautiful beach, our final destination. That will be the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing moment, and why not, a refreshing splash into the Mediterranean sea! 

Difficulty: Easy - intermediate (requires good physical condition as we’ll be hiking for more than 6 hours)

How do we get there? By train from Sants station in Barcelona. The R4 train (direction Sant Vicenç de Calders) leaves at 08:25 AM, but we’ll meet earlier, at 08:00 AM, at the ticket offices inside the station. If you want to catch the train at another station or meet us directly at the Arboç station, please let us know by sending us a message. We’ll arrive at the Arboç station at 09:28AM.

We’ll return from the Vilanova i La Geltrú station (the exact time will depend on our hiking pace 😊). There are quite a few trains to get back to Barcelona.

Waterproof jacket (just in case)

• transportation: train ticket (round trip). (If possible, we’ll share a T10 card among those who get first at the station).

Cancellation policy: if cancellation till 72h before the beginning of the activity, 50% will be charged. If late cancellation (less than 72h before), full payment will be requested.
